15 minute speedpaint on artgrounds.com's sketcher.

I really do like fish... these ones are particularly entertaining.
..trying to work up the drive to paint a 16x20 before the 20th :/
While they do come in pretty colours, I have yet to see one as vivid green as portrayed here...

YAY!!! I LOVE bluegills! (well, any variety of sunfish actually, especially pumpkinseeds <33)

anyway, woot for fish drawings...not enugh people do them :/

Hehe they're so silly! Pumpkinseeds are gorgeous... I actually am regarding this as a bit of practise, since I have a bluegill in a painting of a beaver pond I'm working on ^^;

Yea,... he does kinda look bored. He seems to have the same odd sly not really thinking but thinking expression the little twerps get when I try to catch the buggers.

Gotta love speedpaintings. :3 That's an interesting view to work with but it looks just great - very 3D! I love the colours you used as well, the green and orange and that little bit of turquoise with the surrounding murky blue of the water. Simple but elegant, I like!

Aw thank you :D I'm glad the dimensions are there :)
I had fun with the blues and playing with them for the colourscheme. Perhaps I'll use this as a 'sketch' of sorts to do a full-size traditional painting with :)
